Tool Test Information

The tools listed below are available for beta testing by the TWG. To report a bug or request an improvement, please go to https://pds-jira.jpl.nasa.gov/projects/SW/issues. To submit new test case(s) or update of existing test case(s) for future regression testing, please email emily.s.law@jpl.nasa.gov.

Validate Tool

This version of the Validate Tool (1.15.0-dev) was built from the latest source code and includes all of the new features and corrections planned for the Build 9b release. This version addresses the following issues (issue details are available in this .csv file):

  • [PDS-603] – Add capability to do spot checking of data content
  • [PDS-605] – Check Logical Identifiers of primary members
  • [PDS-606] – Check for existence of referenced local identifiers within a label
  • [PDS-604] – Check for un-labeled files in a bundle
  • [PDS-678] – Check that Context LIDVIDs referenced in product labels exist in the registered list
  • [PDS-701] – Update field format validation behavior due to CCB-214
  • [PDS-723] – Support schematron rules using the document-uri() function
  • Updated to use a beta version of model 1C00 (1.12.0.0) of the PDS4 Information Model Schema and Schematron by default to do validation

Transform Tool

This version of the Validate Tool (1.9.0-dev) was built from the latest source code and includes all of the new features and corrections planned for the Build 9b release. This version addresses the following issues (issue details are available in this .csv file):

  • [PDS-602] – Add support for Array_3D_Image to FITS transformations
