Agenda
Purpose: In the August 2006 Face-to-Face meeting at Flagstaff, Arizona, the PDS Management Council directed the Engineering Node to host a meeting focused on tools and data integrity.The meeting will focus on new requirements and capabilities for the validation tool, initial requirements and capabilities for the label design tool, and generation of a set of requirements for data integrity across PDS as a system. Lodging

Standard Rooms and Parking: Singles/Doubles: $110.00 Parking is $7.00 for overnight guest and for day guest. Cut-Off Date: The cut off date of reservations is on 10/2/2006 at 5pm. Reservations after the cut-off date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis only. Guaranteed Reservation: Please note all reservation requests must be accompanied by a first night room deposit, or be guaranteed with a major credit. Any cancellations within 24 hours from the date of arrival will be billed for one night room and tax. Check In/Check Out Time: The check-in time is 3:00pm and the check out is 12:00pm.

Access to Meeting
Once you arrive at JPL security gate, the security guard will guide you to the visitor parking area. Cross the street from the visitor parking area, register at JPL Visitor Center. Either Dan or Emily will be there to escort you to the meeting. Dan’s cell phone is (818)653-5363 and Emily’s is (818)667-5535 should anyone has any problems.
Meals
Coffee/tea and refreshments will be available in the meeting room both days. There are also soft drink and snack vending machines in the building and cafeterias where they serve lunch. A group dinner will be held on Tuesday Oct 24 at 6:45 p.m. at the “Tokyo Wako” Teppan Steak and Sushi Bar located at 330 E. Colorado Blvd., Ste. 239, Pasadena, CA 91101 (626)440-0670

Internet Access
You may bring a laptop to the meeting if the computer meets minimum requirements and if it has complied with prescribed steps. Please see JPL Guest Internet Access.
The JPL Guest Internet access uses DHCP so you do not need to know a specific address. Your laptop must be configured to use DHCP. There are no restrictions on the JPL Guest Internet access.
The wireless Network Name (SSID) is broadcasted: JPLGuestInternet. It will be available in the meeting room. To log on: Open a web browser and go to any JPL external web site. You will be redirected to a Terms of Service page before you can continue. You must read the Terms of Service and click the Agree button.
Restrictions apply to use of the JPL Guest Internet service include: Users cannot access resources on the JPL Intranet, although they can connect to the JPL public web site (https://www.jpl.nasa.gov) and the MeetingPlace web site (http://meetingplace.jpl.nasa.gov). In addition, they cannot use the JPL mail (smtp) server for sending e-mail. Therefore, we recommend that visitors launch the corporate VPN client to access e-mail services.
