About Search Service
The Search Service provides the search capability for the PDS search index generated through the Search Core software. The core functionality for this service is satisfied by Apache Solr. It contains 3 main components:
- Apache Solr Web Application
- PDS Search Protocol
- PDAP Search Protocol
